Cupressus sempervirens are a common site in many Mediterranean climates around the world. Hardy to 0 degrees F. Originally from the Mediterranean region of Europe this Cypress tolerates poor soil, heat, & drought well. This plant makes an excellent hedge. This plant differs from Cupressus arizonica & Juniperus 'Tam' in that it has strongly upright growth, is dark green not grey in color, & lacks a strong odor.
