This is a great pine for the desert, it tolerates heat, drought, & poor soil. Aleppo Pines are native to Mediterranean Europe Afghanistan, Turkey, & Greece. This tree is billowy & often leans with the wind. Aleppo Pones grow up to 40 feet high . Aleppo Pines will grow well up to the 5000 foot elevation here in Southern California. Two to three needles per fascicle.
