Texas Ranger (aka Cenzios)


Leucophyllum frutescens this evergreen shrub native to the Chihuhuan Desert makes a great addition to the desert landscape. The shrub can have either silvery gray or bright green foliage. The flowers rage from magenta (the most common color) through pink & even white. Bloom time is summer through fall often after rains or deep irrigation's. The shrub will grow up to 6 feet high & wide. Texas Ranger is drought tolerant needing water only once or twice a month. Hardy to 10 degrees F.
