Abelia


Abelia grandiflora is an evergreen shrub native to the mountains of South Africa. This shrub is variable i height with both dwarf & large varietals, most Abelias grow to 4 to 6 feet high & wide. The flowers are trumpet shaped & are small but are born in showy clusters at the end of the branches. The flowers range from white to pink, foliage is ushually glossy apple green but it also may be colorful & variegated. Abelia will grow in full shun to part shade & is drought ollerant the flowwers atrract hummingbirds.
