Holly

Ilex auifolium is a commonly encountered evergreen shrub that has many forms. Holly is grown for its handsome foliage & attractive bright red winter berries. The foliage is armed with spikesalong their margins. Hollys vary in size from small shrubs to small trees most often they are encountered as medium sized dense shrubs. Hollys are somewhat drought tolerant & will get along nicely with a deep watering once every two weeks. Holly can take full sun to part shade here in the desert.
